College World Series

Anyone watching the College World Series?

I was highly disappointed to see the Texas Longhorns get eliminated...especially as early as they did. Texas has been to the College World Series more than any other program in NCAA history. It would've been nice to see the most storied program to win the national championship at TD Ameritrade's Park first College World Series. But that won't happen.

Instead, Virginia, Vanderbilt, and Florida are the favorites as of now to win the whole thing. Virginia and Florida are the top national seeds ( 1 and 2 respectively ), while Vanderbilt is the cinderella story. Of course, I have to mention South Carolina as they are still very much alive in the tournament...oh yeah, and they are the defending national champs.

With that said, I'm taking the gators. Florida leads the nation in runs per game, averaging just over 7 runs a game. It's always nice to be able to rely on every hitter and know that your team has a chance of exploding for many reasons at any given at-bat.

Who ya got?
